COMMUNITY CELEBRATION OF REMEMBRANCE, a memorial service for those who have experienced the death of a loved one, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Southwest Washington Medical Center’s Health Education Center, 600 N.E. 92nd Ave. The event is sponsored by Hospice Southwest’s Hope Bereavement Services. CHRISTMAS DESSERT WITH KAREN KINGSBURY, 7 p.m. Dec. 13 at First Church of God, 3300 N.E. 78th St. The high school choir will perform Christmas carols, and Kingsbury will give a Christmas message, followed by dessert and coffee.
