MIAMI (AP) — Olympic silver medalist Yudel Jhonson improved to 9-0, unanimously outpointing Joseph De Los Santos in a junior middleweight fight Friday night.

Jhonson, who represented his native Cuba in the 2004 Games, was given a 60-53 edge by all three judges.

Jhonson had the only knockdown, flooring De Los Santos (4-7-3) with a left to the body in the sixth round.

Also, Jhonson’s 2004 Olympic teammate, cruiserweight Yordanis Despaigne, had a lopsided unanimous decision over Juan Jose Ruiz. Despaigne (8-0) won 60-54 on all three cards.
