TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A federal drug task force investigation into marijuana growing operations in King and Pierce counties has yielded seven arrests and the seizure of 1,700 marijuana plants, as well as cash and vehicles.
The Seattle office of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration says a number of police agencies helped execute eight search warrants in King County and two in Pierce County on Thursday.
Five men and two women have been arrested on drug-related charges. An investigation continues.
