SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Giants second baseman Freddy Sanchez has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his non-throwing left shoulder.
Team athletic trainer Dave Groeschner says Sanchez had the procedure in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Tuesday morning. The World Series champion Giants made the announcement at the winter meetings in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
