TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Lions quarterback Drew Stanton is making his third straight start in Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Stanton helped the Lions to a 7-3 win over Green Bay last week and got the call against the Bucs over Shaun Hill. Hill was limited in practice during the week because of a finger injury.

Injured starter Matthew Stafford, as well as third quarterback Zac Robinson, running back Aaron Brown, linebackers Vinny Ciurciu and Landon Johnson, tackle Tony Ugoh, guard Donald Thomas and defensive end Willie Young were inactive for Detroit.

Tampa Bay’s inactives included safety Larry Asante, cornerback D.J. Johnson, fullback Erik Lorig, guard Brandon Carter, tackle Will Barker, defensive end George Johnson, receiver Dezmon Briscoe and third quarterback Rudy Carpenter.
