Cadot stays hot as TCU tops Northwestern St. 96-79

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — J.R. Cadot continued his hot shooting at home Tuesday night, hitting all six of his field goal attempts as TCU defeated Northwestern State 96-79.

Cadot, who was also 3 for 3 from the free-throw line and finished with 15 points, is now shooting 93 percent from the field (27 for 29) in the Horned Frogs’ seven home games. He has made 21 straight shots on his home floor and is shooting 72 percent overall while averaging 8.2 points per game.

Ronnie Moss led TCU (8-4) with 22 points and five assists. He needs two more assists to become the 10th player in Horned Frogs history with 300 career assists.

Garlon Green added 21 points and Hank Thorns had 12 for TCU, which shot 57 percent from the field and outrebounded the Demons 41-22.

Will Pratt had 19 points and Louis Ellis 18 for Northwestern State (8-4), which had its five-game winning streak snapped. Shamir Davis added 15.
