LOWELL, Ore. (AP) — A Lane County sheriff’s officer has identified a 36-year-old man fatally shot at a home in Lowell, Ore., as Shawn Gamble.

Lt. Dennis Ewing says Gamble was shot by an older male relative, who has not been identified or arrested. Ewing said Tuesday that the man is cooperating in the investigation of the Monday night shooting.

The officer says the victim was hit multiple times. An autopsy is scheduled Wednesday.

Other people were present at the home and witnessed the shooting. Ewing says they are cooperating as well.
