FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Devon Peltier’s 3-point shot with four-tenths of a second remaining lifted Cal State Fullerton to a 54-51 victory against Pacific on Thursday night.
The Titans (5-9, 1-1 Big West), who blew a 19-point second-half lead, went scoreless for 5:16 before Peltier’s shot hit the rim, bounced off the backboard and fell through the net.
The Tigers (8-6, 1-1) capped a 12-0 run with Demetrece Young’s game-tying free throws with 28 seconds remaining.
Andre Hardy had 17 points and nine rebounds for Cal State Fullerton before he was ejected for a flagrant foul with 2:57 remaining. Jer’Vaughn Johnson added 12 points for the Titans.
