CHRISTMAS, Fla. (AP) — A 38-year-old Oregon man has been killed in a collision in central Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was walking in grass along State Road 50 in Orange County on Wednesday evening when an SUV driven by 44-year-old John Thrailkill veered off the road.
Thrailkill’s SUV hit the pedestrian, whose name wasn’t immediately released. FHP said he was a resident of Covallis, Ore.
Thrailkill didn’t suffer any injuries in the collision, which is under investigation.
