MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired forward Corey Maggette in a trade with the Golden State Warriors, sending them guard Charlie Bell and center Dan Gadzuric in return.
The Bucks also get a second-round pick from the Warriors in Thursday night’s NBA draft, leaving them with three selections in the second round.
Maggette played in 70 games with 49 starts for Golden State last season, averaging 19.8 points per game. He will be expected to provide scoring for a team that may lose free agent John Salmons.
Bell played in 71 games for Milwaukee last season, averaging 6.5 points, 1.5 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game. Gadzuric appeared in 32 games for the Bucks last season and averaged 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per game.
