EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A Mountlake Terrace man accused of giving a woman a lethal dose of heroin was charged Wednesday in Everett with controlled substance homicide.
If Joshua Knox is convicted in December’s death of 18-year-old Bridgette Johns the 26-year-old would face up to eight years in prison.
The Daily Herald reports that Snohomish County prosecutors say Johns awakened Knox two times that night to say her ears were ringing and her stomach was upset. He told her to go back to sleep. He found her dead the next morning.
