PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Investigators in the Dominican Republic have confiscated a pistol and a revolver as part of their investigation into the murder of a Portland lawyer.
Art Tarlow was shot June 10 inside his winter home on the country’s north coast.
Police have been examining whether the death was connected to a legal battle waged by Tarlow and a group of investors following a failed attempt to build a casino.
Lead investigator Eddie Bueno Disla told The Oregonian that police confiscated the weapons last week after executing a search warrant. Two people have been detained — a local businessman’s driver and security guard.
