FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) — The day-use area at Dash Point State Park reopens Saturday.

It has been closed since April 30 for crews to clean up diesel that leaked from a 300-gallon tank left at the Federal Way park by a bridge-painting contractor.

The Ecology Department says crews removed 250 tons of contaminated soil, asphalt, rocks and vegetation.
