PRAGUE (AP) — The Czech Republic will travel to the United States for friendlies this month without injured stars Tomas Rosicky and striker Milan Baros.

The Czechs will first meet Turkey on May 22 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., before taking on the United States three days later at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn.

Arsenal midfielder Rosicky has to rest the injured ankle which prevented him from playing the past two English Premier League games while Baros of Galatasaray has a thigh muscle problem.

Czech Republic coach Michal Bilek will also have to do without a number of other injured players, including West Bromwich Albion forward Roman Bednar and Hertha Berlin defender Roman Hubnik.
