Evergreen will discuss academy with neighbors

Representatives from Evergreen Public Schools will discuss plans to build a health and bioscience academy near Southwest Washington Medical Center at the North Garrison Heights Neighborhood Association meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Marrion Elementary School, 10119 N.E. 14th St.

Reg Martinson, executive director of facilities at Evergreen, will discuss plans to build the school on the southwest corner of Northeast 92nd Avenue and Northeast Ninth Street. He will be joined by other staff members including Marilyn Colliflower, assistant superintendent for student learning, and Sam Gilroy Hicks, director of secondary education, who will talk about the school program.
