OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Athletics have promoted Rick Rodriguez to be their bullpen coach.
The A’s announced the move Friday.
Rodriguez has been in the Oakland organization for 26 seasons. He spent 10 of the 11 last years as the pitching coach at Triple-A Sacramento.
The A’s recently moved Ron Romanick from bullpen coach to pitching coach.
