PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — A dentist from Enterprise has been identified as the pilot killed in the crash of a small plane on the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

KONA reports the name of Bruce Cummings was released Tuesday by Tom Groat with the tribe’s emergency services. He says Cummings had dental practices in Walla Walla and Enterprise.

The 1952 single-engine Beechcraft went missing after taking off Sunday from the Walla Walla, Wash., regional airport, headed for Enterprise in Eastern Oregon.

The wreckage was spotted Monday by a Civil Air Patrol crew about 34 miles southeast of Pendleton.
