Police search for missing boy, 10, in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police in Portland are searching for a missing 10-year-old boy last seen at his school cafeteria.

The Portland Police Bureau said Welley Tardey was last seen at the Lincoln Park School cafeteria at about 8:45 a.m. Monday but did not show up for class, where he was scheduled to take an exam.

The boy is described as black, about 5-foot-2, thin build, wearing a red jacket with black writing on the back, blue jeans, red shoes and possibly a blue hat.

Police said Welley has no known medical issues and there was no sign of foul play.
