Bucknell rolls past Binghamton 66-38

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Mike Muscala scored 16 points and had eight rebounds to lead Bucknell to a 66-38 victory over Binghamton on Wednesday night.

Bryson Johnson added 10 points for the Bisons (1-2), who opened the season with losses to Big East teams Villanova and Marquette. Twelve players saw action for Bucknell.

Bucknell opened the second half on a 10-0 run, expanding its lead to 35-18. Johnson converted a four-point play to start the streak, which was capped by Joe Willman’s jumper with 16:35 left in the game.

The Bisons went on another 10-0 run later in the second half to extend their advantage to 48-31 with 8:57 remaining.

Greer Wright hit four 3-pointers and scored 21 points to lead Binghamton (1-1), which shot 24.6 percent from the field (14 of 57) for the game. Mahamoud Jabbi led Binghamton with 10 rebounds.

Willman led Bucknell with nine rebounds.
