SEATTLE (AP) — After the storm that dropped 10-to-20 inches of snow Wednesday on Washington’s mountains, the National Weather Service says cold air moving into the state this weekend will bring a chance of snow at lower elevations.
Forecasters say low temperatures in Western Washington will drop to the 20s and 30s into early next week. The chance of snow in is described as minor with any accumulations limited to Whatcom County, the San Juans and the north Olympic Peninsula.
Forecasters say it will be colder in Eastern Washington with lows in 20s and teens into early next week. That could bring the first chance of widespread light valley snow in the Inland Northwest.
