INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Colts receiver Austin Collie says he does not want to talk about the play in Philadelphia that left him with a concussion.
Instead, he just wants to get healthy.
Collie has not spoken with reporters since a violent hit that left him on the field Nov. 7. After about 10 minutes, trainers put Collie on a backboard and took him into the locker room. At halftime of the Eagles game, Colts President Bill Polian said Collie was sitting up and alert.
Collie did not practice last week and was held out of the Colts game against Cincinnati, but was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. The Colts have not ruled him out of Sunday’s game at New England.
On Thursday, the Colts handed out a written statement from Collie.
