A single-vehicle crash on an Interstate 5 offramp Thanksgiving morning partially blocked the ramp and sent the driver to the hospital.

Vancouver resident Naomi Gadea, 25, was driving a 2001 Ford Windstar southbound on Interstate at 10:50 a.m. She lost control of the vehicle while taking the offramp to Highway 14 east and struck the wall multiple times before the vehicle came to a stop, according to the Washington State Patrol report.

Gadea was transported by ambulance to Southwest Washington Medical Center with lower back pain, according to WSP. The two minor children in the vehicle were released to their father.

Gadea was charged with driving at speeds too fast for the conditions. The vehicle was totaled.
