EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer is active and will start for the Bengals against the New York Jets after being hobbled by a sore left foot earlier in the week.
Palmer warmed up on the field about 212 hours before the game Thursday night. He had a protective boot on the foot Tuesday, and was held out of practice before returning Wednesday.
Safety Roy Williams (concussion) and cornerbacks Johnathan Joseph (ankle), Brandon Ghee (groin) and Rico Murray (ankle) are all inactive.
Jets right tackle Damien Woody is active after spraining a right knee ligament Sunday. Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (groin) and defensive backs Dwight Lowery (concussion) and Marquice Cole (hamstring) are out.
