CLAY, N.Y. (AP) — Nearly 100 law enforcement officers and volunteers are searching a Syracuse, N.Y., suburb for a 20-year-old college student who went missing a week ago after she returned home for Thanksgiving break.

Jenni-Lyn Watson disappeared last Friday, a day after arriving at her family’s home in Clay.

Onondaga County sheriff’s Sgt. John Marshall says 60 officers from various police agencies and 30 civilian volunteers were searching for Watson on Friday and focusing on a wooded area near her home.

Watson, a junior dance major at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., is described as 5-foot-2 and 100 pounds, with dark blond hair and brown eyes.
