ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills coach Chan Gailey fears defensive end Dwan Edwards could miss the rest of the season with a left hamstring injury.

With five games left, Gailey hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Edwards being placed on season-ending injured reserve because he may not recover in time. Edwards was hurt in the first quarter of a 19-16 overtime loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Cornerback Terrence McGee’s status is uncertain after he aggravated a knee injury last week. Gailey says McGee will have tests this week to determine his status.

Rookie running back C.J. Spiller and defensive end Spencer Johnson are expected to return Sunday, when Buffalo (2-9) plays at Minnesota (4-7). Both missed two weeks with hamstring injuries.
