SPANAWAY, Wash. (AP) — A Pierce Transit bus has struck a utility pole near Spanaway, knocking down electrical wires onto the bus.

Central Pierce Fire and Rescues spokesman Randy Stevens told KOMO Radio that a Puget Sound Energy crew has been called to make certain the electricity in the wires is turned off.

Stevens says four people on board the bus were not injured in the Monday morning accident, but they are being kept on the bus until the electrical danger is clear.
