Roper accounts for 3 TDs in Montana’s 30-7 win

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Justin Roper threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third score and Chase Reynolds added 105 rushing yards and a TD to lead Montana to a 30-7 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday.

Roper scored on a 12-yard run in the first quarter and threw TD passes to Antwon Moutra and Bryce Carver in the second to help the Grizzlies (3-2, 2-1 Big Sky) build a 24-0 halftime lead.

Matt Baca threw a touchdown pass to Patrick Walker with 13:01 to play to prevent the Bears (2-3, 1-2) from being shut out.

Reynolds carried the ball only 11 times and his TD came on a 53-yard run.
