Eight contenders for four Clark County elected positions are scheduled to be present at an Oct. 13 candidates forum hosted by The Forum at the Library group.
The forum starts at 7 p.m. in the Vancouver Community Library, 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd., and features candidates in the following races:
• County commissioner: Steve Stuart and Alan Svehaug.
• Treasurer: Doug Lasher and Mike Appel.
• Assessor: Janet Seekins and Peter Van Nortwick.
• Clerk: Scott Weber and Sherry Parker.
