LYNNWOOD, Wash. (AP) — As the old Lynnwood High School building is being demolished a major retailer is reportedly ready to take over the site near Alderwood Mall.
The Daily Herald of Everett reports an announcement is expected soon on a store that would take up 15 acres of the 40-acre site.
Edmonds School District Assistant Superintendent Marla Miller said the developer, Dallas-based Cypress Equities, reached an agreement Tuesday with a major retail tenant.
Students moved last year to a new building, and Cypress is leasing the old property.
