DENVER (AP) — Paul Andrews is resigning as executive vice president of Kroenke Sports Enterprises.
Andrews will remain in his position until Oct. 27 before beginning an unspecified new career opportunity, KSE said Friday.
Andrews has been in his position since 2005, working with owner Stan Kroenke in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sports company and also working with Josh Kroenke, president of the Denver Nuggets and governor of the Colorado Avalanche.
In a statement, Andrews said he was sad to leave the organization and would miss Stan Kroenke, whom he called “one of the best owners in professional sports,” but Andrews didn’t say why he was leaving.
Stan Kroenke, who owns several sports teams, including the NFL’s St. Louis Rams, said in a statement that KSE will miss Andrews’ “vision and passion for sports.”
