Colgate blows out Princeton on the road 44-10

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Doug Rosnick had nine receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns and Nate Eachus rushed for two scores as Colgate beat Princeton 44-10 on Saturday.

The Raiders (3-2) trailed 3-0 after a 27-yard field goal by Princeton’s Patrick Jacob on the opening drive.

Colgate then answered with 44 straight points, before the Tigers (1-3) stopped the surge late in the fourth quarter. The Raiders totaled 565 yards on offense, rushing for 360 yards.

Eachus scored the Raiders first points on a 4-yard run in the first quarter, giving Colgate a 6-3 lead after a blocked extra point. Eachus added an 18-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Greg Sullivan threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to Rosnick with 4:17 remaining in the first half to give the Raiders a 30-3 halftime lead. Rosnick’s second touchdown of the game came on a 34-yard reception in the third quarter.
