CINCINNATI (AP) — Replay got involved in Game 3 of the NL division series, with Chase Utley’s homer getting upheld after a quick video review.

The Phillies second baseman homered off Cincinnati’s Johnny Cueto with two outs in the fifth inning, putting Philadelphia up 2-0. Center fielder Drew Stubbs drifted to the wall, jumped and stretched to try to make a catch, but the ball cleared his glove by several feet.

A fan in the first row reached up and tried to catch it. Stubbs argued for interference and manager Dusty Baker came out to talk to the umpires, who needed only 73 seconds to confirm the ball was out of Stubbs’ reach.

It was Utley’s 10th career homer in the playoffs, setting a club record.
