A workshop for teachers will dip into the wriggly world of vermicomposting.

The “Worms go to School” workshop for teachers will provide interdisciplinary curriculum for Clark County teachers. Compost created by red worms is a rich medium for students to learn about life cycles, ecology and science.

The event costs $25 and will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2.

It will be held at the Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center, 12602 S.E. Evergreen Highway. Curriculum, a worm bin and red worms will be provided. Register online at www.columbiasprings.org, or call 360-882-0936, ext. 223.
