LONDON (AP) — Robin Soderling has become the fifth player to qualify for the end-of-season ATP World Tour Finals in London.
The 26-year-old Swede lost in the quarterfinals of the Stockholm Open on Friday, but his place in the eight-man field was guaranteed for the event on Nov. 21.
It is the second consecutive year Soderling has qualified for the London tournament, after reaching the semifinals in his debut last year.
Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have also qualified.
Tomas Berdych, Fernando Verdasco and David Ferrer hold the other three qualifying places with three weeks of the regular season left.
