Colts trade for Redskins DB Tryon on cutdown day

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts have acquired third-year defensive back Justin Tryon, sending an undisclosed draft pick to the Washington Redskins to bolster an injury-hit secondary.

The teams announced the deal Saturday, when the Colts still had to trim their roster to 53 by the league’s afternoon deadline.

Indianapolis has had six defensive backs go on season-ending injured reserve.
