ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have claimed linebacker Spencer Havner and kick returner Stefan Logan on waivers.
Havner played tight end last season with Green Bay, but is expected to switch back to his college position of linebacker with the Lions. Detroit has struggled with injuries and inexperience at the position throughout training camp.
Logan returned both punts and kickoffs for Pittsburgh in 2009, and should fill the same role for the Lions.
