ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills center Geoff Hangartner missed practice because of an injured left ankle.
Coach Chan Gailey on Wednesday declined to discuss the nature of the injury except to say Hangartner was held out for precautionary reasons. Gailey says the player will be evaluated to determine whether he can practice Thursday as the Bills prepare to play at Green Bay on Sunday.
Hangartner was hurt in the second half of a 15-10 loss to Miami on Sunday. He continued playing after having his left ankle wrapped on the sideline.
Also, starting outside linebacker Reggie Torbor practiced fully after missing last week’s game with a chest injury. Gailey said he’s hopeful Torbor will play Sunday.
