DALLAS, Ore. (AP) — Officials in Oregon’s Polk County are investigating possible human remains in a field near Dallas.
The Oregonian reports that investigators think the remains found Thursday morning might be those of a person missing since April and whose car was found in a nearby field.
Sheriff’s spokesman Dean Bender says it will take time to identify the remains and notify relatives.
