PITTSBURGH (AP) — Steelers left tackle Max Starks (ankle) and nose tackle Casey Hampton (hamstring) did not practice for a third consecutive day and have been ruled out of Sunday’s game at Tennessee.

Quarterback Byron Leftwich, who injured his left knee in the final exhibition game Sept. 2, went through a full practice for the first time Friday and is listed as probable. While Leftwich’s knee is improving, Dennis Dixon will make his second consecutive start in place of suspended quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Listed as doubtful are two rookies, linebacker Jason Worilds (shoulder) and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (quadriceps). Rookie wide receiver and kick returner Antonio Brown may play after being held out of the season opener against Atlanta.
