TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to helping Maurice Clemmons after he killed four Lakewood police officers last Nov. 29.

In Pierce County Superior Court on Thursday, 27-year-old Quiana Williams pleaded guilty to five counts of rendering criminal assistance. Judge Stephanie Arend gave Williams a five-year sentence.

Prosecutors say Williams picked up Clemmons in Seattle on the day he gunned down Sgt. Mark Renninger and officers Tina Griswold, Ronald Owens and Greg Richards at a coffee shop south of Tacoma.

The woman was accused of helping Clemmons bandage the wounds he suffered in the shooting, allowing him to do laundry at her home and use her phone, then giving him a ride to another part of Seattle. Clemmons was shot and killed Dec. 1 by a Seattle officer.
