HOUSTON (AP) — The game between Baylor and Rice has been suspended just before 8 p.m. CDT Saturday because of lightning.
Baylor led 7-3 with 12:45 remaining in the second quarter when officials announced that play would be suspended for 30 minutes because of lightning in the area.
It was not raining and many fans remained in the bleachers after the teams filed to the locker rooms.
