Blackhawks beat Red Wings

CHICAGO (AP) — Jack Skille, Marian Hossa and Duncan Keith each had a goal and an assist, and the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-2 on Saturday night in exhibition player in their first home game since winning the Stanley Cup in June at Philadelphia.

The announced crowd of 20,553 set a a franchise preseason record.

Ryan Potulny also scored for Chicago, which won for the first time in the preseason following two losses.

Valtteri Filppula and Drew Miller scored for Detroit, also 1-2-0 in exhibition play.

Marty Turco made 23 saves for Chicago, and Chris Osgood stopped 30 shots for Detroit.
