SEATTLE (AP) — Travis Hafner homered, singled and drove in four runs as the Cleveland Indians scored 10 runs in the fourth inning Friday night against the Seattle Mariners.

Hafner had an RBI single early in the inning off Seattle starter Jason Vargas, then capped the scoring binge with a three-run homer that nearly reached the third deck of the right-field stands at Safeco Field. His homer came off reliever Tom Wilhelmsen.

Fourteen batters came to the plate and the Indians got 10 hits. Carlos Santana, Hafner and Orlando Cabrera all had two hits in the inning. Austin Kearns, hitless in 10 at-bats this season, broke that string with an RBI double as the Indians got five straight hits to start the inning.
