Volunteers invited to fight garlic mustard

WASHOUGAL — Want to help stop invasive weeds?

Clark County Environmental Services will be hosting an Earth Day event 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 23.

Volunteers will primarily be pulling garlic mustard in the Washougal River Greenway in Camas and Washougal.

Volunteers are asked to meet at Hathaway Park in Washougal, and are advised to wear sturdy shoes and work gloves, and to dress in layers.

The event is BYORWB (Bring Your Own Refillable Water Bottle).
