HOUSTON (AP) — Houston Astros manager Brad Mills has been suspended for one game and reliever Aneury Rodriguez for three games following their weekend ejections against the Florida Marlins.

Both were also fined undisclosed amounts. Mills will serve his suspension Tuesday night against the Cubs. Bench coach Al Pedrique will manage the game.

Rodriguez is appealing his suspension and may play until there is a ruling on the appeal. Mills, as manager, has no appeals process.

Rodriguez was ejected in the ninth inning Sunday when he hit Gaby Sanchez with a pitch.
