BEND, Ore. (AP) — A Deschutes County grand jury has indicted a Bend man on criminally negligent homicide and hit-and-run charges in the death of another Bend man who was struck while walking his bicycle on a street.

KTVZ-TV reports that police had previously identified 38-year-old Bret Lee Biedscheid as a person of interest in the Jan. 26 death of 48-year-old Anthony Martin.

The grand jury reviewed evidence from witnesses and police, as well as reviewing documents and video, including a security camera that taped the scene from a nearby grocery store.

Martin was struck by a pickup while pushing his bicycle with a friend.
