STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — Seahawks fullback and former Penn State quarterback Michael Robinson is returning to Happy Valley for the Blue-White game Saturday.
His college playing days are long over, so the charismatic Robinson will be broadcasting the scrimmage that ends spring practice on the Big Ten Network.
While he’s maintaining his offseason conditioning routine, Robinson said Friday the NFL lockout has given him more time to spend with family and focus on post-playing career dreams of becoming a broadcaster.
Robinson said he hopes to start an online talk show, at the latest by August, which is intended in part to give players a voice during the lockout. He hopes to transition it to a general sports talk show in the future, even touching on politics and entertainment.
