LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky freshmen Brandon Knight and Terrence Jones and junior DeAndre Liggins have declared for the NBA draft.
The school announced Wednesday all three players are going to gauge their prospects but have no plans to sign with an agent, meaning they could opt out of the draft and return to school next fall.
Knight, who averaged 17.3 points a game and Jones, who averaged 15.7 points and 8.8 rebounds, are considered first-round selections while Liggins is one of the top defensive players in the country.
The trio helped the Wildcats to their first Final Four in 13 years. They have until May 8 to decide whether to stay in the draft or return to school.
Kentucky freshman guard Doron Lamb said Tuesday he is coming back for his sophomore season.
