TUKWILA, Wash. (AP) — Police say burglars backed a stolen pickup truck through the front of a gun shop in Tukwila and got away with a number of handguns in less than a minute.

Spokesman Mike Murphy says officers arriving about 4 a.m. Thursday found gun cases had been smashed at Discount Gun Sales.

Police followed a trail of broken glass to the truck at nearby Bicentennial Park where the burglars apparently took off in another vehicle.

KOMO Radio reports the store owner is checking the inventory to determine how many weapons were taken.
