CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Charotte’s bowl game will be played at night for the first time.
Belk Bowl officials announced Thursday this year’s game will kick off at 8 p.m. EST on Dec. 27 at Bank of America Stadium. It will be televised by ESPN.
The 10-year-old bowl has only been played during the day in the past. Last year’s game started at noon on Dec. 31.
The game pairing teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and Big East has previously been called the Meineke Bowl and Continental Tire Bowl.
